iHOPE is a highly specialized private therapeutic and academic school for students with traumatic brain injuries and multiple disabilities. Working with the entire organization has been a unique and heartwarming experience for our firm.

The LB Architects team worked closely with educators and school executives to design a 70,000 square foot state of the art educational facility to provide more comprehensive support to their students and enrich their learning program.

The school is designed with the needs and goals of the students and is equipped with “high tech” solutions which include classrooms, occupational/physical therapy gyms, a fully operational mock apartment and therapy pool. Along with the educational spaces, breakout support spaces for the school staff and students have been strategically designed and located throughout the facility. While the main focus was the interior space, our team designed a branded private entrance and vertical transportation within the existing building exterior envelope for a safe and smooth transfer into the facility.
